I remember this from Laugh in back in the sixties. Lily is the funniest sharpest comedienne since Lucille Ball. Seriously, they really ought to put her in something. She is a freakin' genius.

WOW! This character came to my mind so I looked her up on here. I didn't know who Lily Tomlin was, when I was a child, but it's funny to look back now knowing who she is. Still funny how she talks.

the irony is that Edith Ann did not orginate on Sesame Street.  This character was first on Laugh In and quite a bit more off colour and alot more bratty. She is great!

Edith Ann was one of my favourites on Sesame Strreet and that ending always made me laugh.
