Good for small gigs?
-
would you reccomend this amp for playing a gig?
-
what the hell are you doing ?
just play some simple chords or riff instead

@alliumband The Fender Bassman is so awesome!!! I just got one and am amazed with what it can do for guitar!!!!

@Kizuatojp You must have a defective model. I play hard and heavy rhythm and this amp kicks ass. It sounds awesome with a distortion pedal and with tweaking the EQ YOU CAN PLAY ANYTHING. I collect amps and play thru Marshalls, Vox, and every Fender amp I can find. You most certainly can play metal. This amp is underrated. You just have to EQ IT. The built in overdrive is on the light side, but nothing a boost pedal, and good distortion can't fix.

Nice amp...if you play heavy stuff, get a quality distortion pedal like a suhr riot and put it in front of the clean channel. I am getting one of these and will never use the drive channels at all.

Would this amp be OK to play something like alternative rock, or more precisely the old Smashing Pumpkins (Siamese Dream/Mellon Collie era)? With a big muff pedal, naturally :D
