Pianists Michael Monroe and Nathan Skinner sightread symphonies for lunchtime Gordon College audiences. This video features a few excerpts from this week's performance of Mendelssohn's "Italian" Symphony. For this performance, they're reading the music from a Tablet PC, using an attached 15-inch monitor for the second part. Both sets of pages are turned using the Airturn wireless page-turning pedal. (http://airturn.com)
It's meant to be a pretty informal performance, so little mistakes here and there are part of the fun. They're not 100% sightreading since they did have a couple of brief rehearsals ahead of time. On the other hand, in this case they were reading from a very poorly scanned copy of the score that was downloaded from the otherwise extraordinary IMLSP.org. (http://imslp.org)
The previous week (2/18) they played Beethoven's 1st. On tap for next week (3/4) is a two-piano version of Beethoven's Symphony No.3, the aptly titled "Eroica."

Your "twelve composers of christmas" video made me laugh so hard. It's genius! (I couldn't comment on that video so I thought I'd say it here)

They did a wonderful job! I wish music like that was played at lunchtime at my university.
