i'll stick to a workover rig. our blowouts can get controlled by stabbing it with a TIW. Nothing on this scale, i hope the the only thing that happened to that crew was having to throw up some crude.

I've been on two blowouts on the first the rig burnt down and the derrick hand was killed and shows what I've tried to explain.

Also it says 23,000 Drilling Depth. They still have a shit load of pipe racked back. When I worked on Nabors 797 we were drilling between 20,000+ feet That leaves 10,000 feet of (POOH) Which I think it's less than that still racked back as shown in the video. It's just to hard to count the rows to see just how much it really is. God I need to get back to work. Fuck, Fight, and Trip Pipe!

I agree Allison.. He's a dumbass.. So lets see. Say you have about 51 SPM on #1 Pump, and 50 SPM on #2 Pump you have drilled out about 8000 feet. You are going to see about 2100+ PSI depending on other factors. Then you have Mud Motors. 85% Pressure in the Drill String, and 15% in the Annulus. The failed box in a possiblity.. They do have a black leg, and that is Surface casing on the racks. So did they take a Surface kick? Or more like you said.. A Box Blowout?
