@pflueeb ....The title saids "Zuma 125 Introduction", unlike you, some people do have the courtesy to share what they would find useful for other potential buyer(s) to get a feel of what they might expect from a product. And as for the "tool" part?... look in a mirror.

Unlike you, he can afford a $4,000.00 scooter to simply buzz around a parking lot with. All you can do it try to downplay and put him down. People with lives don't have the time or energy to do that. take notes!!

Have you ever strapped bags to the back of this puppy? Like a sports bag?
Would a laptop bag fit in the storage compartment?
Great vid; thanks.

Thank you for the great video, thinking about different scooters and the Zuma looks pretty great.

@wweems1953 great video!! thinking of getting one. Did you ever do the headlight mod? how did it turn out?

Cool video! I rode a scooter for the first time last week in Bermuda. The throttle was the left grip and the rear break was located on the right grip. How is yours setup here in the USA? Do you throttle with the right grip and break with the left grip? Thanks!

Great review! Really thinking picking one of these up. Save the car (15 mpg city) for other things haha. Again, thanks!

good video with good information. you seem like a cool dude as well.
I put the bags from our bigger bike on it just to check it out. One side was too close to the muffler. A 15" laptop will not fit in the compartment. I carry mine in a backpack when I need it.
With the luggage rack as an anchor point, a sports bag could be attached using bungie cords.
Overall I am still very happy with this bike. My wife and I rode to the next town (45 miles round trip) today. She was riding her Vino 125. We had a lot of fun and saved gas on the trip. The zuma is faster.

I have read about people who wired the headlights so they both come on in high and low beam. Some have run their batteries down because the lights draw more current than the generator supplies. I commute to work on a very dark road. I did want more light but didn't want a dead battery. I wired both high beam elements together so I get maximum lighting. When the low beam is selected only the single headlight comes on. This way I know the battery is being charged when on low beam. It's a fun bike

Answers to some of the questions:
- I am 6' and the bike is very comfortable to ride. Taller works as my son is 6'3".
- I weigh about 200 and only ride 1 up. A second person will work if they are fairly light.
At 4000 miles it is about ready for a rear tire.
Typical gas mileage is about 75 to 80 but can drop lower if fighting a head wind.
It gets off the line fairly quickly and up to 40 - above that it takes a little longer.
The trunk will hold a partial coverage helmet not a full one.

Update on my status -
The bike now has 4000 miles and is doing great. I haven't had any problems at all with the bike.
I generally ride it to work (18 miles each way) 1 or 2 times a week. My commute includes a stretch of road with no passing with a 50 MPH speed limit and right on the coast. When the wind is blowing hard I am barely able to maintain 50.
Generally it does 50 to 55 easily.

Great Video! I Purchased My Zuma 125 Just A Few Months Ago,
Have you made any mods to your Zuma?
flomojaguar 1 year ago
@flomojaguar The only mod I made to my Zuma was to make both headlights work together. Instead of one being the high beam and one the low. On high both lights light. On low I only have the one bulb light. This is due to the limited battery charging ability. Some people reported dead batteries after extended riding.
