  • I'm so sad, we haven't played Another Star since this year.. not even in the stands :(

  • Man, that sucks...Another Star isdefinitely one of my all time favorite tunes.

  • Wow, sorry guys, didn't realize people were still commenting this! Anyway, this was back during fall '06...which wasn't even a state year. We never made it to state while I was there, but we did make area finals every time.

  • I wish we could march and play this good now

  • @reivaylor...Betcha if I showed up at a game with my axe, you'd play it. Trumpet solo is mine, though.

The glory days? Try the mid- to late 80s. Best years of the band, those were...

  • I have heard it, both from the plainview band and the Denver City band played it this year

  • you should hear brige to the future awsome tune

  • me from dc im in jounier high 8th grade playing quads

  • I'm from dc tx I'm also in band but in jr high 7th grade

  • BTW-- Rollins, if you're lurking about: I challenge the Stage Band to take on "What Planet is This" or "Tank!" by The Seatbelts (Live). Would have been a breeze with the old crew, show me the new crew.

Those songs can be found here on youtube and will have most of you jonesing for the smell of valve oil.

  • '86 '87 I marched point. We fielded around 100 those years. Won State both. If you think this is good, take a look back. Judas Priest! Good Grief Charlie Brown! Glad to see some comeback, but if you were in band the years I was, you still have the cringes Riker would put on and you'd know where in this vid that he would have gone wide eyed. Still, noble effort and congrats on the one's. Topaz anyone?

  • yeah, they dont think we can do it anymore :(
