Exploitation isn't necessarilly bad or wrong; in this case, you have to make her change her state of mind to get a simple chance at speaking to her as a stranger and not as a fan.

Is it this wrong to wish for a chance and try to open someone's mind? Nothing forces her to stick with you, but it does allow her to think of you as a man and act like she would if she wasn't famous. Does it justify his behaviour, does it mean I would try? Not necessarilly, but it does shows it is possible he is right

What's interestign with human nature in a society is how predictable their actions are most of the time. Even more interestign is that extreme tendencies, love and hate, for example can be exploited easier.

In this case, Kari is probably used to see man talking to her as loving fans. Her reaction must be a polite rejection. Without thinking, she'll probably set you aside and take distance.

This is a tendency and, yes, it can be exploited as well.

Kari might be famous, but she's human too.
