The record that proceeded it at #1 was "I Never Loved A Man (The Way I Love You)" by Aretha Franklin, it was at #1 for 6 weeks...

And the record was succeeded at #1 was "Respect" by, none other than, Aretha Franklin, it remained at #1 for 8 weeks...

Guess you can call it a 'Aretha Franklin Sandwich'...

It reached #10 on Billboard's Hot Top 100 chart...
