This is really sick, employers hiring firms to spy on applicants social media and internet presence and judging them on it really scares me, and I can only hope regulations will be introduced to ban it. I'm not sure if I it's worse than employers checking credit ratings, but I certainly think this is no better. Hiring someone based on the number of friends they have on facebook, drunken pictures they have uploaded, or blogs they have posted is no different to basing it on race or gender.
