Tim Freedman killed Billy Field's song to make a quick buck. Can't stand him ever since he did an interview basically saying the uneducated masses don't like the songs he likes so he rips out a tacky crowd-pleaser now and then to fund his lifestyle and his "real" music. Well, this would be one of those "crowd pleasers". Did he not listen to the lyrics? It's a sad, heartfelt song. You can't sing it as a jingle!!

I've heard a few other covers and they still capture the soft melody and lyrical genius. Tim Freedman makes it sound like something i'd hear in a supermarket TV ad..
