Tim Freedman killed Billy Field's song to make a quick buck. Can't stand him ever since he did an interview basically saying the uneducated masses don't like the songs he likes so he rips out a tacky crowd-pleaser now and then to fund his lifestyle and his "real" music. Well, this would be one of those "crowd pleasers". Did he not listen to the lyrics? It's a sad, heartfelt song. You can't sing it as a jingle!!

This version isn't too bad for a laugh, but the idea for the vid has been done before - e.g. Robbie Williams, "Something Beautiful", anyone? On the other hand, it has no pathos - err, Tim, as you should know, it's meant to be a sad song, a ballad - "you weren't in love with me" - geddit?
With all due respect, fuck Mick Fleetwood. The best version of this song is by the guy who wrote it - Billy Field. End of.

loving this more and more every time i play it.. this song was already awesome, but this revives it brilliantly. The clip is hilarious..pretty sure i get the message it's sending..is it just me or does the chick in the gold dress resemble Ricki-Lee Coulter a little?
