Smallville: Chloe Sullivan | Season One Retrospective

In the first season of the hit WB series 'Smallville,' we were introduced to Chloe Sullivan (Allison Mack), an inquisitive reporter for her high school paper, The Torch, with the aspirations of landing that big career at the Daily Planet, in Metropolis. With her best friends, Clark Kent (Tom Welling) and Pete Ross (Sam Jones III), Chloe helps uncover the truth behind Smallville's strangest mysteries that all seem to circle around the meteor rocks. Through Clark, Chloe meets Lex Luthor (Michael Rosenbaum), but her desire to scratch to the surface of the truth behind "level 3" far outweighs his charm.

Chloe is faced with the challenge of choosing her friends over her subjects, but can she truly leave the mystery that is Clark Kent alone? Speaking of, with the Spring Formal coming up, will Clark ask Chloe to the dance even with his eyes for Lana (Kristin Kreuk)?

Seeing vintage Chloe like this reminds me of why I love her character so damn much. The realism of it all! She used to be this hopeless romantic, go getting reporter with instinct that wouldn't quit, a little immature at times but that's what makes her amazing. In the older seasons she matured so much that the viewers were able to see her past flaws and the wonderful person she has become. I love Chloe Sullivan because of this. Thanks for reminding me Jack, as well as using OneRepublic <3

I just finished rewatching season 1 Chloe is sooo adorable XD aww "I knew it was you! It's always you!" that is one of the best scenes from season 1!! <33 This was great :D
