I believe Tasha was credited with a half-in-half out punch front. She had said that in a fluff interview. I'm not sure. Did she perform the full-in punch prior?

Lu Li was given a 10.00 previously on bars.

in my opinion onodi deserved the gold, on both foor and vault, but lavinia deserved second on both.
onodi had less noticable mistakes in her floor and better landings on vault.

Tasha Schwikert has done a full-in punch front. A ten was given out on uneven bars as well, during the event final.

I was 12 y.o. back then and I remember they were very very stingy with the tens at Barcelona. I guess since they only had given one 10.0 during the entire Olympics, they wanted to award at leat one during the last event of the games. 10.0's were big crowd pleasers and they were good for the popularity of the sport. I also thought since Milo hoped she should not had recieved a ten. Still, no one has ever attempted doing that pass again though...

The perfect ten was more of the judges' perception back then I think. If they feel that the routine was "perfect" then they would give it.
If you look at Nadia's famous 10 in UB, she actually hopped in the landing, but the judges felt that it deserved a perfect score.

yes indeed...but this was actually an IMPERFECT 10! I still think she deserved it! It was the last ten ever scored in the history of gymnastics!
