Albany, & for that matter the entire Capital Land region, contains an astounding concentration of heavy masonry edifices of monumental & glorious proportions, whose topographical layout, for many, rates akin to the much younger & far less impressive west coast counterpart ie, San Francisco. In fact, certain of the area's neo-classical oeuvre bests their ancient antecedents: ancient Athens & Rome abound; as it does more recent Paris, London, Burges, Antwerp, Vicenza etc: STELLAR VID(s)

... oh, and then, too, there is Albany's divine Zoo; admission is initially free ... however, you had better be, while in any of those formerly glorious Victorian and/or Colonial sections, aloft in a fast moving --- ideally invisibility cloaked -- helicopter, or, at the very least in a bullet-proof automobile. Monkeys and gorillas along eg, the Clinton street et al realms are known to squawk loudly, make ear-slitting srieckes, stink, knife and otherwise butcher routinely: Fun to watch afar
