Help, when i was a little kid watched on tv a cartoon (or maybe a puppet show, i'm not sure) that i think was based on this McCay's story:

It was modern back at the time (late 80's - early 90's), colored, spoken and similar plot, but i neither can remenber its name nor find anything in the internet about it. I think each episode started with a tv showing white noise...

Anyone knows this cartoon / puppet show?
