Nice Floyd shirt, Vid looks cool but I've can get the same smooth shots using my Cam Caddie I picked up for $38 on Amzon. I think the Merlin is like $800 or something.

Cam caddie has no gimbal, it's just simply not in the same class. You have to use a steadicam for real to know exactly why it's such a big deal. The gimbal isolates ALL angular momentum so the thing just floats. Try one, it's a magical experience.

@mastersgta1 Trust me I understand but what I'm saying is I've been able to get shots just as smooth as shown in this video and many others with Cam Caddie and it only cost $38. Capturing a great shot is always magical no matter how you go about getting it.

lol, NO YOU DON'T. Try to get a smooth shot with your caddie while ZOOMED ALL THE WAY IN. ha, not so smooth now is it? On a Merlin you can get shots buttery smooth on telephoto.
Caddie is a joke. Yeah, I am serious.

@mastersgta1 "Why so serious?" I'd like to see you zoom in and get a superior looking shot than I can get with my Cam Caddie. People often take courses on how to use the Merlin, it's not exactly user friendly and from the looks and sounds of it you ain't no pro. (no offense)

From 0:15 to 0:30 was shot with telephoto. And from the look and sounds of it you have absolutely not a clue since you couldn't even tell...

More shots, without putting on a giant fish-eye lense to "hide" the angular motion and jitter normally associated with a caddie.
