This is our first attemp at "Join Up". I had never done join up on a horse before so I look like i dunno what im doing, which was kinda true, lol. But he did come to me, and follow me, and I was amazed at how "easy" it was. The camera cut out so i didn't get it all. Anyway, enjoy.
Great job! People need to get over themselves, especially since this is your first time, and maybe there were some things that could have been better but either way it still worked out just fine! Also, Its so pretty there! What state is this in? I'm trying to figure our where I want to move to start my horse stable (if I'm ever blessed enough to be able to afford a nice one of my own) where I live, everythings always dry and dead and brown. :P

Kl yeh well join up should help him focus and think about you. you can tell if he is focused on you when his inside ear is fixed on you, this shows he is totally focused on whatever you do, so i hope he does this and proves to you that he can be like this!! lol good luck!

It is very unlikely that if a horse had joined up and followed up that they would stop following you, but if it did, then yes you would make themgo round a few times again then join up again

what would you do if the horse just stopped following you do you make them run again untill u see the signs for them to stop again?

join up PART 3:
Turn away from him, drop your shoulders, break eye contact and relax so you dont look threatening at all.; He should walk over to you. If he does, rub him between the eyes and scratch him, then walk away. If he doesnt come to you, go to him slowly, with your head and eyes and shoulders down. Stroke between his eyes and scratch him, then walk around and he will follow!
