This is the first weeks pull up videos for beginners. If you can already do pull ups, this weeks video is not for you. Make sure you subscribe and for a workout routine for beginners, please go to strength-project.com and in the tutorial section, go to calisthenics and you'll find pull ups week 1 for beginners. Do these workouts and eventually you WILL get to the point where you can do a pull up.

  • This video really inspired me too start trainning, when all my mates laughed that I couldn't do any let alone one 'half' pull up without jumping, I first watched this video mid last year (August 2011) I can now do 12 perfect full extension pull ups.... who's laughin now ;) Thanks for the inspiration, used your techniques in this video! Can't recommend them highly enough.

  • @xxXFrenchCODguyXxx Someone else already pointed it out. But you're probably strong in areas that are not really used in pullups. Pullups are mostly back, and most people don't work out back.

  • I'm going to start doing this. Since I run marathons my leg muscles are like a horse. I have some shoulders,but no arm muscles, and a little bit of a back.

  • first time i did pull ups my max was 3 but i would do 3 sets on every workout (3X week). after about a 2 months i now do 15 per set and my max is now 18. my goal is to eventually do 25 per set.
