The hardpart of being a freelancer is getting paid on a regular basis.
Having done this for 15 years, I can tell you I write for various publications-some smaller, some bigger-just to keep steady or near steady checks flowing.
This economy hasn't helped either.
I was doing just fine writing for magazines when the economy dipped and cost me moneys I could gotten from continued mag work.
I still haven't recovered yet.
