He seems funny enough, but I think that has more to do with a mind-altering substance than any comedic talent he might have... Or maybe he was just plain tired... :-)

But isn't that what good actors do? They project an image, a fantasy, and we fall in love with the projection. I think there's nothing wrong with that, as long as we're clear that's all they are: a projection of a fantasy :-)

I agree with you actually. The fangirls are only in love with the concept of a "perfect" guy, and not the actual character nor the actor himself. It's like pasting a cut image of some brutally handsome man and sticking it onto his face just to suit their fantasies. I most likely will get negative comments for this, but it's the truth. Just because a lot of people like him doesn't mean he's all that great.
