  • this car was designed in the late 80's, and launched in the early 90's. it met all the safety requirements of that time, plus manufacturers didnt have the super computers we have today. the e36 will never do well in NCAP tests, because the NCAP didnt exist in its time. today, car manufacturers specifically design their cars so that they will do well in the NCAP.

  • Note to self: do not crash m3. Will feel it in the morning

  • @garyproton Excuses, excuses.

    Overrated german crap.

Why can't you just admit it?

    I'm starting to think it's a disease.

  • @samfisherman007 spun, went down a verge and rolled it. was a nice motor that.

  • @beradlles how did u roll it?

  • I got a 92 e36 with no airbag! Oh well, I still love if it does want to kill me!

  • Say what you want about safety I rolled my e36 compact two days ago.

And I'm still here. Cars built like a freaking tank.

  • Late deployment of airbag and the face missed the airbag altogether! Note to self: Do not crash my e36!

  • Well... At least it is safer thn the rover 100

  • ...and here you can see the most useless airbag EVER.

  • one of the worst cars ever. and clueless people say german cars have safety...maybe now...!

  • @DoogieDarwel I'm still driving this kinda car with only 2 air bags in front, so I'm kinda worried ;D and I think the bigger engine provides more safety :) no?
