One for the Money Casting Picks -Janet Evanovich.wmv

Upon hearing that Katherine Heigl is going to play Stephanie Plum, I decided to try and build a cast around their choice. Since reading the book I had always thought it would be played by Sandra Bullock, so I had to re-think most of my character choices.

Mooner IS Walter. And it's Joyce Barnhardt, and the hamster's name is Rex. Betty White would be amazing as Grandma Mazur! Ranger would be well played by Dwayne The Rock Johnson, Joe Morelli should be played by Gerard Butler. Reese Witherspoon would be awesome as Valerie, and so would be Mo Nique as Lula. I like Katherine Heigl, but Sandra Bullock would have been great as Stephanie.

@Amber83Dawn Hi, I know I realized I had the names wrong it had been a while since I had read the book when I made this and did not have the book to reference. Since I made it I have read all 18 books and the ones in between. Sorry for the mess up.

@Iskel1 he did ok in the movie. He sounded like he was reading a script though. Still a great movie. I don't know if I missed something in the book but I always thought of Tank as a large white guy (WWE kind of big) but I might have missed a detail in the book. In the more recent books they just say he is big and buff, hence the name. Nothing about other details of his appearance.

@Babyj1026 He could be I never thought about it. Lula dates him in one of the books and describes him that is where I got the idea. I have given my books away so others could enjoy them, so I can't tell you exactly which one. It is the one where she wants to marry him.

Ranger should have been Dwayne Johnson .Katherine Heigl was not good as Stephanie Plum . Sherri Shepherd was great a Lula! Wish Betty White had played Grandma Mazur.Love the book hated the movie.Most of the Casting was wrong.

I Think Amber83Dawn's choices were great...Sandra Bullock was my first choice for Stephanie but Katherine is also a great choice. I have always pictured "the Rock" as Ranger and Gerard Butler as Morelli..& yes I always thought "Tank" was a black guy and Ving Rhames would be perfect...love all the books Im up to #17...love love love them.

Your picks, except for Ranger ( wanted Vin Diesel) are exactly what I picture after reading al the books. Your pick for Morelli was perfect. I always pictured Stephanie as Meg Ryan though and I liked Cloris Leachman as Grandma Mazer. Just goes to show the casting director has never read one of your books. Still not seeing the movie, would spoil the reading the books for me.
