I found this interesting since I was researching the Boer wars (mostly the 2nd)

and I got to say whats happening to the white farmers now is disgusting.

But Frank's Z.A. friends logic is flawed. This song has changed meaning several times over the years. For Mandela and the early ANC, this song was a good song, and it meant "kill white apartheid" and not white Afrikaans. So once again Frank is spewing vitriol on a sad and complicated issue about the conquerers now becoming the conquered.

This song must be taken within the context of the era it was released. Political views aside, Nelson Mandela possesses an amazing spirit of righteousness and understanding. If all the people of the world possessed the spirit of his, the world would be a much friendlier place. These Americans don't know the man like South Africans do.
