  • They tried to copy Ken Keseys merry prankster bus but were a bit too safe & a bit too contrived.

  • I was 12 in '67 and would have given anything to be on that bus! Paul was so freakin cute & John was so sexy!

  • It's great to see this footage. Although it was McCartney's enthusiasm that got the film done, the others weren't into it. George Harrison said he enjoyed racing around in the Mini...for the film to be shown on TV in black & white during Christmas in England must have been crap. I've seen it in Harvard Square on the big screen in color-much better! JT8800 in Boston.

  • To be attempting this about two, three months at releasing "Pepper" took huge cajones. Most "artists," especially these days, would be spent. Their handlers would tell them to cool it. For better or worse, The Beatles kept at it ... didn't have to, and invited a lot more criticism for their efforts. Simply amazing level of output and effort pre-digital age.

  • Notice in the chorus how they sing " RooLaaa, RooLaap for the mystery tour ".

There probably talking about pot ( " Roll up, roll up, for the MYSTERY tour " )

  • 4:37 "Hey, you! Get outta my shot!" Silly Paul... <3

  • I MISS YOU JOHN & GEORGE. LOVE REALLY IS THE ANSWER

  • Paul @ 4:37 That's one way to get rid of autograph seekers! :D

  • @SkunkDroppings If only John hadn't been so accesible to that jerk who's mistakenly been called a fan, he'd still be here =(

  • Great music but as a concept the Mystery Tour was just the sort of thing you'd expect a couple of art school dropouts to come up with. Plus the original broadcast was in black and white as I recall, and Mystery Tour just screams color. The music segments are no better or worse than 80s music videos though - so in that sense it was way ahead of its time.

  • @Paulmaclover1234 I know nañkshdalsdasgdakgdsagkasdgjasdg Oh, I love him. Wanna be that girl. LOL.
