How to put the belt back on after it falls off. The dryer was less than a year old, tech came out once and re-installed the belt, but it fell off again and it has taken over 1 week to come back out! Swith the spring ends around and it will stay on for good! Hope this helps!

  • Sounds good if you can find one that log. Post back if it works out so we can all benefit. I would also look at the pully if adding a wider belt. I don't like the flimsy press metal baracket they made either.

  • Thank you so much for making this video!!!! This is the second time in one year that my dryer belt has had to be replaced and the wait to have someone come out is usually at least one week. Each time we have had to replace the belt, the belt is shredded, so I think the belts that are made for this dryer are defective.

  • @xoxolynnkay330xoxo I would look at the way the spring was put on. I think that is where the problem lies. One end is longer than the other. When I switched the ends, it has stayed on alot longer. You can order spare belts on the sears site or any appliance store. After this failure, I am buying belts. I did find the manuals available for $15 as a download. Not sure what is in it, but I am glad I bought the extended warranty. Glad it has helped someone! ;)

  • Thank you, you saved me $129 plus parts.

  • Very helpful. Thank you!!

  • Samsung support was very helpful in trying to setup a service call DV448AGW dryer but we don't have the $'s to pay for repairs right now nor should someone for such a simple fix. Thank you very much for your video and the last thirty seconds summed up 'how to' and what it should 'look like' when belt is re-installed correctly. Hope I can return the favor someday.

  • Thanks for this post. I've used it twice. Good reference.

  • @mquist01 It's been working like a champ for two months.

  • @Wiineked Did that belt work out for you?

  • Just wanted to say Thank You. We just purchased one of these dryers and needed to do the Natural Gas Conversion to LP. We had the man from our Gas Company come out but because he was unfamiliar with the brand he didn’t know how to get the front off to even get to the place where he could get to it. Because of your video he was able to figure it out. Thank you for taking the time to do this.

  • Super, Had my Samsung :( for two years or less and the belt shreads. I'm going to try the Whirlpool, or Maytag belt as they both have the same part # 33002535. Thanks 369iouto, Texaspowerman, Wiineked.

  • This was super helpful - my husband is not very handy and even he was able to fix our dryer. Thank you so much!

  • thanks a lot... just pulled the dryer out from the wall, removed three screws, pulled the dryer tube out, and put the belt back on. my dryer was stacked and I didnt have to remove a single hose, plug or vent. real good what you did. took like 20 mins total.
