Epic Boring Classes

Ana and John debate which classes in college were the most mind numbing to sit through. Turns out political theory kinda sucks.

Ha!! I was just thinking of going to school for something like political theory. Thanks John & Ana for keeping me from wasting my life!  Say I want to be a Young Turk, or have my own political show/voice/campaign? I just kind of pulled my head out of the sand to political and world news/events about a year ago, however Im very smart and catch on pretty quick.

@krisreckner Oh I'm not against poli sci courses. I did both undergrad and graduate school for that... just political theory specifically I'm not a big fan of. - John

One of my favourite classes was art history. I even kept the ginormous text book I had to buy for the class but we hardly used. I'm not an artist at all but the teacher I had was phenomenal and the he made the lectures amazing.

linear algebra was probably also the most boring math class I took. The math classes afterwards were a lot better though.

The most boring class for me was advanced linear algebra. I hated it so much. It was all proofs and theorems and I learned nothing new from the previous linear algebra class I took. That's when I decided to drop the math major to a math minor.

Most boring is a tie between this "logical problem solving" class and any English class.

Cultural Geography. Could have been better if the professor wasn't super boring, but god I don't remember a damn thing from that class.

@tytuniversity Exactly. I really lucked out with that professor. He was brand new and eager to share all his knowledge (you know the type). I only went to a state school (SUNY Canton) but a lot of my professors were amazing. I had wanted to take abnormal psych (applied to my major but not required) but I sat one class with the professor and I wanted to tear my freaking hair out. They only had one ab psych professor and he was it unfortunately. I dropped the class.
