I had this done on the 11th of February 2011, it's my daughters name and a tribal lizard, thought I'd be different and have something less girly than butterfly's and flowers!

  • @sherlockfrom95 Thank you : ) I suppose I was quite brave ; )

  • @AbixxxLouise The writing was the same as the lizard really. Im a wimp normally too! Haha, I nearly pass out in a doctors waiting room! But weirdly I have had my tattoo, my tongue and belly button pierced!? You will be fine, just take sweets and coke to keep your blood sugar level up. : )

  • Your comments are really comforting and informative. So thank you. I'm going to get my first tattoo soon. I just have to find a place to go. I'm glad I watched this. Thanks.

  • @cori182 Thats ok! Its great getting a tattoo, Im planning on getting another (my second) for my birthday this November! Maybe getting it on my lower leg with a bit of colour this time instead of just black. What are you hoping to get and where? : )

  • How long did it take? And how much was it? I want to get one done on my wrist and I'm a little nervous- its my first. I want a piece sign... What looks better upper or lower wrist? -- like should I put it where it can be covered or up farther?

  • @MsLunaLover Also my tattoo is about an inch down from the start of the palm of my hand as when I bend my wrist the skin folds so would have ruined the tattoo. Where mine is can easily be covered up with a long sleeved top so that doesnt bother me. You can obviously have it wherever you want, but I like it when people notice it and ask about it lol! In my opinion I think a peace sign would look better an inch down like mine, but its all up to you and your preferences. x

  • @mouseratyo i have a wrist bad in memory of my mother and the wrist isnt all that bad im only 14 so i was scared at first but it just stings a bit fear makes it worse just breathe

  • does it hurt at all? im thinking about getting one on my shoulder blade and I'm terrified of needles. any tips too?

  • chest is a killer! im a 15 stone rugby player i had a tear

  • Did it hurt very much? I want to get a tattoo on my wrist. Btw cool design :D

  • @LaurenTarry I hear the lower leg hurts quite a bit but if you got yours done on your wrist, the most painful place, I'm sure it wont be as bad. I'm getting either the three of life celtic knot or the hawaiian island chain for my first. I'm from Hawaii so I've always wanted a piece of home on my body somewhere and I figured the chain over my heart would be neat. And the celtic knot is sort of an homage to my mom who is obsessed with irish culture. And I just really liked the meaning behind it.
