Heart O' the Mountain - Hitchcock Estate

Director Alfred Hitchcock kept a second home in the Santa Cruz Mountains, a spread of nearly 200 acres known for its wine grape growing capabilities. The property has recently re-opened as Heart O' the Mountain Winery. These photos were shot over two recent visits to the winery and estate where Hitch once entertained such guests as Grace Kelly & Prince Rainier, Ingrid Bergman, Jimmy Stewart, and more.

Wonderful photography. Beautiful estate. I've never read nor seen anything of the great director/producer's life. Tis one thing I love about Youtube is that there are people who provide skillfully opened windows such as this to the environs of our greatest and brightest--more than just the glue to all that is good. The wine glass scenery shot was not pretentious at all; it was all fabulous.
