  • Thankyou for updating me :))

  • @devinasamantha

If a pulse is there, U have to give 1 rescue breath every 5-6 seconds in an adult or 6-8 seconds in case of advance airway and every 3-5 seconds in an infant and child. U need not to do chest compressions.

Ur second question is ambiguous, if the patient is breathing but what about the pulse?

  • @mike512ify

Yes you are not supposed to stop compression for ventilation once you have an advanced airway in, otherwise you have to stop compression for 2 rescue breaths.

  • if i do feel a pulse at the first time, then i do 2 times rescue breaths right? And after that do i still have to do cpr? And what if the patient is breathing at the first place? But still unconscious?someone care to answer my question? Thank you :)

  • @mike512ify this is CPR for healtcare providers not heartsaver (lay persons) HCP still have to deliver 02 since we have the equipment available on crash carts.

  • I Thought that you are not supposed to stop CPR for Ventilation?

  • @g00d2btrue adult: one every 5-6 seconds (10-12 per minute) or one every 6-8 seconds for advanced airways
