I updated my 12-Gauge Garage video to include the hydraulic lift I put in this May and to remove pictures that show the old clean-up area. So these pictures are pretty much up to date, and I think the garage itself is pretty much finished, now.

Famous last words, I know.

It's all cleaned up for these pictures. But people who have seen it know that it's a working garage. It gets messy -- but the cool thing about it is how quickly it can be cleaned back up.

I call it the 12-Gauge Garage because the steel in the cabinets is 12 gauge -- about an eighth of an inch thick.

  • Excellent assortment of hammers.

  • @FORDboy357 If one of those won't fix it, then I can be certain it's an electrical problem.

  • Took me a second to realise the lift is proper for the porsche, as all its important parts are all the way at the rear of the car or all the way front, nothing really to care for in the middle.

  • @xevious2501 That was it. It's a lift that's pretty much just for this one car. But it's a great fit for the 911, and the 911 is the only car I do regular work on.

  • @JackOlsen But Porsche doesn't use Lucas wiring....

  • sweet, love it.

  • @JackOlsen Well, if you wanted to lift another car, you could modify four jacks so that they have a wider base and place them under the chassis, right?

  • what song is this?
