i think i was a santa monica slammer that year.. we lost the competitions but man Joel was my idol as i was a budding musician.. gosh now im 34 wow... time flies and so do those don Johnson short sleeve sport jackets..

I am pretty sure I was there at this concert. I was 13 and went with Emmanuel Faith Community Church from Escondido Ca. What a great memory! Thanks Joel for all your inspiring music!

Thanks for posting! I remember that concert, we wnet to Hume every summer from my wagon train days all they way up to Ponderosa. Loved Joel! (Even had a crush on him!) What a fantastic memory to relive! Keep the Faith!

Thanks for the memories! Those were great days. Pretty risky stuff back in the day. Christians can't have long hair and play red guitars can they? Glad to have had so much fun and ministry with y'all.
