I would say this was in the early 90s. I'd say 92/93

All i can say is those aerial pieces are bad ass, Booms that articulate at two Different points, Now that's a cool piece.

Nice video...Does anybody know when the brigade started using the Volvo appliances..late 80's?
-
Can't belive that this electronic siren was that old (still some pumps in London use this siren) does anybody knows what model and make is it?
Fantastic video btw :)

@FeuerwehrWSL The video is from the early 90's. so the pumps where what 10 years old.

very well done job but some of the cars ( 1:43 ) are very old in such a big town like London they should have newer cars
PS: I`m german so don`t look at my grama

well done to all you boys my respects to you all guys

@jackeatley indeed mate god this is old not even my era but know alot good footage though, as i said pumps back in the days were manned by 4 fire fighters & a watch officer either station officer or sub officer white helmet 1 stripe yellow helmet 2 stripes, gotta love the hum of the old dennis though!

gotta point out the 199? volvo/saxon, the full nomex fire kit and the newer helmets.
so early 90's
As a member of the public, it looks dis-organised. I guess you guys knew what you are all doing but it looks like a mess to me.
A rundown of the procedures would be most interesting and would help me learn about your tactics. Thanks :)

@train672 Each crew member has a number which defines his/her task.
#1 is officer - task to evaluate situation and take command.
#2 Driver/Pump operator - task to lay hose, connect hydrant end and engage pump (which is why he runs back to the cab for power take-off)
From left to right rear row #'s 3,4,5
Don BA sets, grab line bag, assist #2 with hose at building end, await orders from #1.
Although this looks chaotic, all worked as it should from both the first crew and arriving back-up.
