Removing the wheel bearings from a CB500s front wheel of indeterminate age and mileage bought from a breakers. No preparation beforehand, this is how it came out of the box and the video hasn't been cut or edited in any way.
I spent quite a while uselessly battering at one bearing which had a fair bit of rust round the outside. If I'd started with the other bearing, the whole job would have taken 2 minutes.
It would also have been easier with the wheel flat on the ground until the bearing started to move, I propped it up for the benefit of the video.
They are both 6302 2RS bearings.
Tools used: Old screwdriver; drift; lumphammer; 15mm socket and extension bar:
