"Twighlight Over Paris" - I DEDICATE THIS TO QUEEN JOAN (Ivoryticklemama). This music was composed by Ken Dingle, a very experienced teacher and performer from Cornwall,England. He gave me this music MANY years ago at an accordion seminar and this is the first time I have played it "publicly". I have interpreted the mood by using saxophone and then musette in the right hand, and fretless bass with 'scat' voice as the orchestral chords. Imagine 2 people deeply in love, strolling in the boulevards, whilst from a café, this music whispers out to engulf them..... Sigh........!

  • *melts to the music* oh, how I love these kind of tunes.. to mind come a peaceful street in Paris, and an evening stroll with a loved one... and you played it wonderfully, Mike! Could you possibly send me the sheet music for this one? It's so beautiful, I'd really like to learn it myself and I'd really appreciate it if you would.

  • @Ch1mp90 Hello Simon - thanks for listening and your encouragement. If you would like to send me a private message (click on "send message" from my channel page) with your email address, I will be very happy to send you the music as a PDF print & play>

  • Love that sax sound ... so pleasing to the ears!

  • @AGDStradella - Thank you :)) I am still learning all about this wonderful instrument and am pleased that you can adjust each voices initial volume individually before you play. I find that most important with the clarinet and violin voices - i usually bring them right down to about minus 25 or more before I am happy with the combined sound.

Have a great Sunday and thanks for your comments.

  • @G4merboy - Oh my goodness!! Is it a sin?? And your point is......?

BTW, there is no programming involved - I do not programme anything in to this SELF CONTAINED accordion.

But what does it matter and why mention it? Your comment is pretty meaningless really.

  • You do know that u are effectively using midi by programming these different voices in?
