The last thing I'd like to add is that I also play using a keyboard. Using a pad for this would be hell on the thumbs, a joystick would probably be decent enough. I don't use macros just because that'd be cheating in a way. I remember seeing the original Darkstalkers in the arcade, but I don't remember ever seeing any of the sequels. I dunno, I see lots of people on the net begging for a new sequel and I just don't see why. No one I know liked these games when I was a kid.

My other complaint about this game are the Supers, they don't do nearly enough damage. Some regular combos with fewer hits do way more damage. Seems like Capcom was just trying to make a flashy game with the Darkstalkers series, to show off the CPS2 hardware. You'll notice the rush and attack style of fighting was never incorporated into any of the Street Fighter games, and it's no wonder why. And I couldn't imagine playing Vampire Savior with turbo speed on, it would be impossible to play.

I've been playing this on the newest Kawaks, and I don't understand how Jedah wasn't pulling that grab move where he pumps you up and pops you every time you get close to him, he does that shit to me all the time. I can see why they never made a Darkstalkers/Vampire 4. Some characters are way too cheap, like Jedah, and Bishamon with his auto-dizzy fireball bullshit. Comboing is a pain due to the speed. And it's tiring to try to combo, and the matches are too short and too few. Darkstalkers sucks
