You should show someone breaking to the net on the move in a game.

Explain in slow motion that the body weight down on the shaft helps flex the stick

if you drag the puck back behind you you can get more flex at the same time.

Then the transfer of body wieght pushing from the back instep or toe

coming forward onto a flat front foot and hard snap makes the wrist shot

more deadly than any other shot.

Do this video on the move...not standing still.

Typical stereotypical demonstration of a shot that is never performed like this in real game. I don't care if Robitaille or this chick demostrates it, its for one boring, for two not practical because its very static. Everything must be practiced on the move, otherwise it makes no sense, takes forever and creates horrible habits - precisely because it lacks the reality of the game. Its the dynamics of skating AND shot release that makes wrist shot what it is. ALWAYS PRACTICE IT IN FULL GEAR!!!!
