ptrickly15....Pentagon is the most over-funded military entity in the Western world. Yet our recruitment standard are bellow average where we allow criminals and unsavory characters to join and endanger our fellow American female soldiers, not to mention foreign people whom we are supposedly bringing 'Democracy' for.
Our military had over $3 Trillion a yr under Bush admin, but our vets live sub-condition life when they come home, long stretched deployment, wasteful costs, etc.

It's great to talk about fighting but you can't fight unemployment if you cripple the economy... or fight our enemies if you underfund our military...
Empathy won't solve this countries problems. Change is bad if it is fundamentally wrong.
