Indigo Redback & Polymorph - Sequence Jam II

Another jam with Access Indigo 2 Redback and Quasimidi Polymorph. The pad and the strings comes from both Redback and a part of the Polymorph. Sequences starts at 1:50.

Same of previous video: not a very elaborated track, but another Polymorph demo, who fits pretty nice on my setup and looks great next to the Redback.

@wolfgangfaust probably you can't recognize it because I did the sequence myself or, at least, it was a preset deeply edited by me. Let me check it and i will answer you later.

@MathinkysMusiq There is no difference but the color, a little redback spider picture on the BMP led and a special sound bank that was loaded on it, also available on Access website I guess. 400€ is a great price for the JP8000, congratulations ;)

@RanKirlian Whats really the specific difference between the Redback and the normal indigo 2, i mean what sounds or options. I just bought a Roland jp-8000 for 400 on ebay but im still interested in access Virus indigo 2.

@MathinkysMusiq Virus are pretty versatile machines and they can work great for mostly every electronic styles. The internet is full of nice patches; check Access website for some of the best for free. Indigo 2 prices on second hand market would round the 800/900€ or so, even more if you are lucky enough to find a Redback version. JP8000 is also a great sounding machine but in a different way.

@RanKirlian Im actually thinking about getting the Roland Jp-8000 first, even though its an old machine alot of famous musicians still use it and its very nice. But say I was in the market for a Virus Indigo 2, how much would it cost, and i was watching a video of a guy who does trance on an Indigo two and he said he created all the sounds, do you create the sounds straight from the machine or on the computer with software, also is there some kind of patch you have to buy to make it sound beter

@MathinkysMusiq The Redback was a limited edition of Indigo 2 having black color instead of metal and some special sounds and it is not longer in production. Indigo 2 is, indeed, discontinued for years now, but you can try to find one on 2nd hand market, ebay, etc or just go for the newer model Virus TI Polar.

Whata the difference between the virus idigo and the redback? Also I'm looking to get a virus indigo 2 for trance music. I know there disconitued but could you tell me when they were made and when they were discontinued. Also is the redback still in production? Thankyou.

your music is right up my street , done so well ! you have inspired me to buy a virus indigo 2 ( got that from ebay ok ) but trying to get a polymorph is bloody hard !?!? ( love it if anyone has any ideas ? ) i think maybe its time to post a sequence jam 3. ??? thanks anyway ....
