Geomatic Technologies has built a Surface application using its GT VEPlus architecture. This was done to demonstrate the collaboration possible when coordinating emergency recovery activities. The application demonstrates data sharing, photo classification, photo geolocation, direct downloading of photos from a camera.
In addition to the use of cloud based mapping services, the application can run standalone and use local mapping services, such as the Bing Maps Server.
