مستند «ریشهٔ همهٔ شر؟» در ژانویه سال ۲۰۰۶ در کانال ۴ بریتانیا پخش شده است. در این مستند ریچارد داوکینز به بررسی مضرات ادیان می‌پردازد. البته ریچارد داوکینز با عنوان جنجالی این مستند موافق نبوده است؛ ولی تلویزیون روی این فرنام پافشاری داشته است. کتاب پندار خدای داوکینز که در سپتامبر همان سال منتشر شد به بررسی عمیق‌تر موضوعات مطرح شده در این مستند می‌پردازد

i dont understand if there is no God why do we have to be good

Lots of reasons! If you are only good because u think there is a God, and without it u don't have any problem with lying, stealing and raping, then that's not really Morality that u got there my friend! It's certainly immoral to be good only to avoid the fire of hell and punishment.

@mohsenmirzaee تقریبا نزدیک یک میلیارد و سیصد میلیون نفردر چین زندگی می کنن که نزدیک به ۸۵ درصد به آیین تایو اعتقاد دارند وخوب در موجودی به نام خدا اصلا دراین ایین شوخی بیش نیست خوب حالا اگر مرحمت کنین به سوالا من جواب بدین ۱-آیا مردم چین به هیچ قانونی معتقد نیستن؟۲-آیا چون به اخلاق مطلقه اعتقاد ندارند این به معنی اینه که اصلا به معیار اخلاقی اعتقاد ندارند؟

مثال بعدی دین بودا هست در دین بودا موجودی به نام خدا به طور کامل نقض می شه به جز مساله نیروانا که اونهم فقط یه مساله متافیزیکی هست

اون فردی که متولد امریکا بود خوب داوکینز رو گیر انداخته بود، اما فقط قسمت کوتاهی از حرفش رو پخش کرد. درواقع مشکل بی خدایی همینه، به هیچ قانونی معتقد نیستند و هرجا هم ضعفی هست می گن که از قوانین دینی هست (جدا از اینکه چه دینی قوانین رو گذاشته) ، اوکی فرض کنیم از فردا هیچ کس روی کره زمین دینی نداره، شما برنامه تون برای سعادت بشر چیه؟ من کلی از فیلم های داوکینز رو یوتیوب رو دیدم، همه ش فقط انکار و نفی ادیان بوده. هیچ اثبات و قانون و اصلی تو حرفاش نیست.

I hoped to see a fair collection of genuine Islamic thoughts in this video . Dawkins selects some very shallow and vulnerable ideas from a man who, by no means, represents true islam but is a very good and easy target to be hit by Dawkins!!!

In brief ,Mr Dawkins! , no muslim wants war by what Quran has taught us(you have to refer to it!) and by the same token , no one can forget what pure science without ethics can lead humanity to, if you were fair you would have had many examples on this.

for the people who can not use their own brain to find out why they have to be good,

so they have to tell you why and how to be good
