The Break the Silence Rally occurred on April 15th, 2011. Jose Luis is a senior education major at Texas A&M. He advocates for the passage of the Dream Act and serves on the Council of Minority Student Affairs. His story was featured to the front of the Houston Chronicle.
@mariahxgarzaxmlg First, I have never, nor do I ever intend to, entered a country illegally, therefore, I will never be, "put in that life." I also don't have plans to rob a bank either, so I don't have to fear being, "put in that life" as well.

she talks about bravery? Its brave of you to mooch of the US gov. while tax payers eat shit and go unemployed. If it were equal you should have to come here legally. Why is everyone so in favor of helping out criminals??? They are felons! I dont care how crappy their background is, its not fair to US citizens.

I'm graduating from a top university (top 30) as a legal immigrant from South America. The issue at hand is not just about college,but it's also about the unrest created around immigration. I support immigration, but I also support it's regulation. The federal government needs to stop wasting time,and take positive action to handle this issue soon!
