BSNL EVDO Internet service in Rajkot

First of all giving away upto 2 MBPS speed is a big joke, rather it is half true. Because not a single user is given this much speed, but speed of 2 MBPS is shared among the users coming under same tower (as far as my logic goes, most of the towers connectivity is known to all of us). Now, when they say upto to 2 MBPS, it means from 0 bps to 2 MBPS, and they're so true with this statement, because for last three days, I've been receiving speed of 0 bps constantly many times a day, and for the rest of the day, it jumps in other BPS speed. Now compared to even KBPS plans, this is pathetic, because even the Google homepage takes more than 30 seconds to open (and sometimes doesn't open at all). So there is no way to access any other website, or even to login to our chat messengers like Yahoo!, Gtalk etc.

Yes, these days it is working fine. Go for it, if you don't have any options. Are you from Rajkot? If yes, try knowing if you have Reliance Broadband facility at your place. If yes, go for it, or else, BSNL EVDO is good.

hey in which area you are living??? Becoz m getting very good speed even with 1 signal! and 1 more thing in this software you will get graph when something is running which uses bandwidth. lol

I live near Gandhigram area. The speed has improved since last week, and it seems promising now, as the connectivity is continue and so as the speed. So it seems here is no speed issue as of now.

And I totally agree with you about graph.

i believe BSNL's network has to be blamed. It is not launched properly

Yes, they had some 'dumping' problem in the initial stage, which seems to be less these days as speed is continuous.

there r two problems with u...

1- u r not getting proper signal.

2- and give some load or put ur evdo on downloading so that u can measure speed

I guess the software inside your device is corrupt!!! It was the same case with my EVDO. I then took it to the customer care and formatted it... My EVDO now ROCKSSSS!!!

well vdevang i think evdo is not that bad dude . i mean i saw this video of ur evdo's performance but i saw that the signal strength was low may it was not properly adjusted ur signal strenght was only of 2 bars nd in evdo there r 4 bars of signal strenght so dude i wanna try adjusting it n whn it goes on full 4 bars signal strnght then u shud check the original speed. i have heard that bsnl evdo is good wireless broadband service. adjust it n may be u will c the difference. god bless peace.

if you can stay awake between 300 hrs. & 600 hrs. then BSNL EVDO wireless internet is meant for u coz it runs @ 500 kbps to 1000 kbps speed in those hrs. but rest of the day, its a disaster! it gives u speed btwn 20 kbps-150 kbps!

no i am from Jabalpur and i have a broadband plan 750 per month which gives 30kbs of max speed, so i was wondering ,if i had so spent the same expense on evdo,so why not try it..

hopefully its better then 30kbps..what do u think?
