The Police playing live in Essen (Grugahalle), Germany (1980.10.18). Rockpalast event. Their first World tour (1980 summer -1981 spring) called "Zenyatta Mondatta World tour".

But, this is the first (and perhaps the last! :>) time I can actually see Sting's point: I mean here he is with some actually fairly provocative lyrics, trying to sing about truth. Meanwhile, Stuart's suffocating the song with sheer effluance. Can you blame the guy for actually wanting people to think about his lyrics?

    Notwithstanding, I love Stuart. He was the fizz that made the Police sound sparkle.

  • Sting trying to slow Stuart down with those deliberate bass licks is so funny! It just goes to show how much of a drumming MONSTER Copeland is!
