Sailor Man LMAO, who were they kidding that's Popeye. Yah I'm going to play Plumber Guy, Fast Rodent Hog, and maybe later Honkey Bong. XD Still it looks like a fine Coco game.

lol at the copy protection on this game, "piracy is only ok when WE'RE committing it, okay"

Wha it's actually better then some official versions.
The C64 and Coleco ports were just awful esp considering the capability of the hardware.
Maybe the reason they didn't get sued is because Nintendo hired them.

I remember dumping the text from this game and they set aside a few bytes that said "DONTRIPUSOFF" or something to that effect.

I think everyone was copying everyone in those days so no point sueing someone you might want to copy later on. No one really understood the importance in those days.

I had it, in tape. I loved it ! :-)
by the way who were the expert programmers in those days?

The best known expert programmer for the CoCo would have been Steve Bjork.

Really showing off what the humble CoCo could do ;-). Great use of color, smooth animation and equally awesome that Tom Mix got away with it just changing the titile of the game and its characters (were they ever served with a copyright lawsuit?)

I never heard of any of the companies turning out arcade game clones for the CoCo being sued.

Great video! What's that isometric Coco game at 11 seconds into the video?

That is Ghana Bwana. My first video is of that game filmed off the TV screen. I also have a later video of it using Dazzle to capture the footage and with added commentary.
