  • He skipped the most important element with cockers. They MUST be exercised. A 40 minutes walk each day will eliminate the behaviors discussed in the video.

  • My neighbor has a cocker spaniel, every time I see it, it rapes my leg.

  • My dog buster is a cocker spaniel mix bishan dog who loves to walk, eat, play with his girlfriend..... The only thing he has problems with is begging, mostly nervous, afraid of people (male) not female because he loves them. Anyway he's a good dog and he is three years old

  • my cocker spaniel is only agressive to my other dog who is a poddle mix and they live with 2 other dogs a chihuahua mix and a germansheperd mix (all female). Before because we live with just the two I thought that maybe she was showing dominace so we ended up having to give each dog seprate attention. But when we moved in with my aunt and her two dogs there cocker still continued only becoming defensive to the poodle mix and usually only when we go outside. Does anyone know if this is normal?

  • @kattivega101 If you still have the same problems, because our dog still does it every now and then, when he is really excited about other dogs or people. we just pick him up, tell him te relax and be relaxed yourself too, so he doesnt get the vibe that we want to play.

  • I was carrying my cocker spaniel. Told my cousin not to touch her. He touched her. I got pissed on.

  • Yeah my cocker spaniel is way too friendly with other dogs and people if hee is off leash and sees another dog hes run to it to meet it which can be a problem and when someones comes over he always jumps like crazy it takes him a while to calm down like other people said any tips hes 5 months by the way

  • @thebasedbarbie I don't know if you're still experiencing the same problems but mine is 5 months now and I tell everyone that comes in to ignore her and turn their back to her. when she's calmed down they are allowed to pet her. If he bites make the same hard noise with your voice and keep ignoring him. When you're allowed to pet him without any biting or jumping, give him a treat. Be patience cause they're stubborn! this worked with my dog, good luck!

  • also he pee when he nervous and when someone tries to pet him, he tends to bite or nip at them not hard though (he is 6 months now) any tips?

  • my cocker spaniel gets super excited when he meets new people and its hard to calm him down because my guest are sometimes scared of him but he is not aggresive at all. does anyone know any tricks to get him to calm down when meeting or seeing people.
