In a few years when Sidibe inevitably dies of a weight related health problem, the enabler media will react with shock and talk about how tragic it is, and everyone will apparently forget that Stern was legitimately and justifiably warning that it was going to happen.

I never did believe in the BBW, or (Big~Boot-a-Full~Women's) concept. I'm 250 but I've been working out for 20 years...if a chick out-weighs me then she better be eight-feet tall man...because that's the only way she's gonna' look good at all. When you're a morbidly obese fat-ass trust me...you don't look good. (Especially when you're a woman.) And what's the one thing that a "Big~Beautiful~Woman" doesn't want? @native1122 she knew that this was what going to happen, she choose to be in that movie, when you are movies, people will talk about you, thats the way it is. if she is upset about it or if she is hurt over it, it isnt anyone else's fault its her, she knew the risk she was taking and she took it. she must have known that people would talk about her, she is fat plain and simple, hollywood has already forgotten about her, and wont remember her until she dies of morbid obsesity

Obesity is a huge drain on the health care resources that you & i will be paying more even more now with universal healthcare & increasing even more increasing Obesity, and you have the mainstream media saying that being that huge is okay? 1st off people thats not fat or ever been fat would never understand its not okay to be fat and its hard to loss weight .......... To me being fat is just as bad as being on durgs ... because the food is right there we can eat at anytime as of with drugs you have to go out anf find it  when the food is right there...... what i'm sayn is if it was that easy we all be fit but its not ... and its okay to talk about people it just hurts... i should know

Anyone know who Donna Simpson is? She's a 600 something lb. woman. She was on Tyra (and Howard's show) and wants to reach 1,000 lbs. and spends about $700/week on food. Well, the View was slamming the hell out of her yet they were defending Gabourey Sidibe. Hypocrites.

Howard's right. And the people who argue back by saying "who are you to talk, you're not a nutritionist/doctor/physician?­" That's like saying "hey I'm not a lawyer/police officer/judge, I'm not paid to work directly with the law, therefore I don't have to know and be concerned with the law." Or hey if your friend does heroin or mutilates herself, you don't have to be concerned because you're not paid to take care of other people. We all have a general layman's understanding of health issues.
