around 3:40 where the bike goes head on with the tractor trailer... i never noticed until now that the front of the tractor unit had a steel plate on the front with the headlights etc. painted on it???

1973 Ford Falcon XB GT coupe, modified with side pipes, a dummy blower and obviously the nose cone. The same car was used for both movies, and in the second featured slightly different exhausts, added rear gas tanks where the rear window used to sit and fatter rear wheels. Best car ever, so beautiful, the Falcon GT XB with 351 Cleveland and Weiand supercharger (fake in the movie) is the ultimate car... Too bad they ruined the car in the second movie, Mad Max is not the same without his supercar... The third movie is shit for me, but the first two are the best movie ever... Long live to Australia...
