Brief History: Raya Taver the founder of both companies began her career as an aesthetician in Russia in 1963.

In 1979 already in Los Angeles she tried to find an affordable skin care product line for her then one room operation on La Cienega Blvd. When she approached the established professional skin care product distributors she realized their prohibitive sales policies, inflated prices, and high minimums for small salons.

Than, she with help and full involvement of her husband Norman Taver (NASA scientist, Professional Engineer, PhD) decided to develop her own highest European quality professional skin care product line affordable to everyone. It took 15 long years to achieve this goal (develop products and build a factory).

As time passed, her small skin care product development facility evolved into a state-of-the-art, FDA Registered cosmetic research, development and manufacturing company- RAYA Laboratories, Inc. in North Hollywood, California, with over 200 high quality professional skin care products available (under private label) to numerous of skin care Spas, Aestheticians, Dermatologists, and Plastic Surgeons worldwide.

RAYA Laboratories, Inc. in 2005 built for its subsidiary RAYA Day Spa this magnificent stand alone 3 story modern Spa facilities in West Hollywood. It also continuously takes care of all rent, maintanance and product cost expanses - to contribute to RAYA's the most affordable prices.
