  • @lukewallace87 That's pretty cool, I like it when actors like James find the time for normal people. Also, that uniform.constume you had to wear looks really un-comfortable, was it?

  • The guy on 0:03 seconds is me kicking the sand, i was really bored and fed up but the highlight is i got to stand next to James Mcavoy in one scene and when shooting was finished for the day we went to the Hop & Grape for a pint beer or two. James is a really good guy and he said liked Redcar so much he'd have to return one day, which he has and again we went for a beer.

  • What many people watching the movie probably don't realize is, the evacuation scene was shot in one, long continuous shot. There was at least a thousand extras, and it needed to be done in a single day due to the film's budget constraints.

  • awesome. very cool that he was able to be involved in this. I was a Union Soldier in the TBS movie "Andersonville" so i know what it's like to be in such a huge production. This was a great scene.

  • im proud(ish) to live in redcar because of that

  • the song is so nice I love it

  • Hey, i'm in this, at the last second, I one of the lads standing on the truck on the sea wall.
