How to make a basic loaf of bread at home.

Ingredients:

- 400g strong white flour
- 1 sachet baker's yeast (or whatever it says on the back of the packet as to what is needed for 500g of flour)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 330ml lukewarm water

Please tell us how it went and if you enjoyed it :)

  • Thanks for the video Hendrik, but please tell me, how long do I need it to rise for the second time?

  • @FuzzyD007 half hour should be plenty, just check that it has doubled in size

  • Thank you for this great video! Question: The flour measurement in g (grams?) would be equal to how many cups? Thanks!

  • @Pwaak Hi, the measurement in cups should be 4 cups more or less of flour, so maybe 3 cups white flour and 1 cup wholemeal flour should be fine

  • i love your accent

  • @QueenDairylolz thanks :)
